Nyati Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited was registered in 1977 under Co-operative Societies Act No 1.12 of 1997 as amended in 2004, by the the employees of Securicor Security Services (K) Ltd. (Currently G4S Security Services)

The Membership has been opened to other stakeholders and currently has grown tremendously and as at December 2014, the number was 14,000 members.

Nyati Sacco has Savings of more than Ksh 1.2 billion and granted loans amounting to Kshs. 1.5 Billion.
